Overview

A Superlight Superbike

New Ducati mid-range superbike

The new Ducati Panigale V2 S has been re-designed from the ground up. The true superbike “Panigale” pedigree is absolutely clear, bearing an unmistakable resemblance to its big brother the Ducati Panigale V4. The powerplant is an all new 90 degree V2 engine.

comfortable riding position, wide handlebar and road-oriented chassis modifications.

Concept

Ergonomics, more comfort, more control

In keeping with panigale / superbike culture

Just looking at it you can immediately tell it’s a Panigale. It has a completely new front, with a headlight equipped with DRL and lines loaded on the front, typically Panigale. The riding position is aggressive, but not uncomfortable.
Thanks to its lightness and the performance of the new Ducati twin-cylinder engine, this bike is a real fun bike thanks to the low-end torque for maximum fun everytime you open the throttle on the exit of a corner. The Panigale V2 S with 176 kg is the lightest in the segment.

Design

Ego Booster

Re-designed, but still a part of the family

The clip-ons position of the Panigale V2 S (higher and closer to the fuel tank vs those of the previous generation model) contributes to reduce riding effort and to increase versatility moreover provides the right front wheel feeling and support in braking while riding on track.
The footpegs allow for plenty of ground clearance when riding on the circuit without being too uncomfortable for the knees position.
The seat placed at 837mm/33in of height ensures that it is easy to reach the ground for more riding comfort andc onfidence.
Fuel tank shape, inspired by that of the new Panigale V4, delivers support in braking and “hanging off” phases.
Adjustable footpegs and lower clip-ons (below top triple clamp) are available as accessories for an even more effective racetrack riding position.
